Ivory over Shades of Blush

Colored wedding dresses aren't new to the industry, but over the past few seasons, blush gowns have become more and more popular, and we don’t expect this trend to disappear anytime soon. Although white and ivory wedding dresses will always be a timeless classic, a dress with a little color will be sure to stand out on your special day.

Most brides enter bridal boutique expecting to leave with a white or ivory gown, but it is important to stay open-minded and try on a few blush tones too! Shades of light pink, blush, gold, champagne, and nude make ivory accents pop. Not to mention these shades are flattering for almost every skin tone.

Interested in this trend but don’t know where to start? We’ve listed a few of our favorite blush, champagne, gold, and nude dresses that are available at Candlelite Bridal! (Some bridesmaid colors that pair well with this trend include greenery, pale blue, lavender, navy, and burgundy).

“Bernice” from Maggie Sottero’s Rebecca Ingram Line (Shown in Ivory over Champagne) - This classic A-line wedding dress features lace motifs over a tulle skirt. The Champagne makes this beautiful ivory lace design really stand out.

“Zelda” from Maggie Sottero’s Rebecca Ingram Line (Shown in Ivory over Light Gold) - Unique ivory beaded lace covers the light gold bodice of this wedding dress. The fit-and-flare skirt features layers of soft ivory and light gold tulle, giving the gown a soft, romantic look.

“Style 50445” by DaVinci Bridal (Shown in Ivory/Nude) - Be daring in this elegant soft tulle and embroidered lace fit and flare dress. The lace ivory appliqués look beautiful on top of the nude gown.
